Member Vessel Details
All Members with a vessel which will be accessing Club facilities must be recorded on the Clubs database. To have a vessel recorded on the clubs database an approved MVD must be received. All vessels in the Club are required to carry current comprehensive insurance and public liability cover of $10 million and be registered with the Maritime Authority. The reasons for this requirement is as a Co-operative all members are equal owners or shareholders and Members do not want to carry the risk of an uninsured Members vessel causing damage to the Club facility or other Club Members vessels while using a Club facility.
Completed MVD , with attachments, can be mailed or left at the Clubhouse office upstairs or emailed as one combined PDF file to:
The Member Vessel Detail Form (MVD) is completed by all vessel owning Members at the following times:
- When the Member joins the Club
- When a Member is allocated a Club (marina berth, yard space or mooring) facility
- When a Members vessel details change or
- On purchase or disposal of a vessel
The MVD form requires information on the vessels details, copies of insurance and registration documents to be attached and a declaration on ownership to be completed and signed.
The PAC has arranged with Brookvale Insurance Brokers (BIB) a vessel insurance policy specifically tailored and exclusive to PAC Members that includes what other policies charge extra for. Approximately 50% of the vessel owning Members of the Club have their vessel insurance through BIB. More information on BIB can be found here.
On annual renewal of membership each Member makes a declaration on payment, that the insurance and registration remain current and no change to ownership has occurred. Where details have changed this form is to be completed with attachments and resubmitted with payment. Please contact the Secretary at info@paclub.com.au with any questions.
